The firm was founded in the nineteenth century in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by John P Eichleay. It became known for moving entire structures intact.[1]
The firm at one time employed Andy Warhol's father.[2] It also provided a day job to the cartoonist Scott McDaniel, prior to his full time work in cartooning.
